Course roles help Liberty Lamp understand how multiple resources fit together inside one student subject plan.
Primary #
Use Primary for the main course carrying the subject.
Supplemental #
Use Supplemental for an additional resource that supports the main subject, such as skills practice, review, worksheets, or another enrichment resource. Supplemental resources do not automatically become separate transcript credits.
Elective #
Use Elective for an elective or enrichment course such as art, music, coding, co-op coursework, or another non-core offering.
Changing the Primary course #
A subject can have one Primary course plus additional Supplemental or Elective courses. If you select a new Primary course for the same subject, Liberty Lamp preserves the prior course by moving it to Supplemental rather than deleting it.
