Understand the Family Course Pool

< 1 min read

Table of Contents

The Family Course Pool is the household-level collection of courses your family has selected for actual use. It sits between the global Master Curriculum Library and each student’s individual subject map.

How it works #

  1. A parent selects a course from the Master Curriculum Library or creates a family-only course.
  2. When that course is mapped to a student, Liberty Lamp ensures the course exists once in the Family Course Pool.
  3. The same household course can then be mapped to another child without duplicating the global catalog record.
  4. Each student keeps a separate subject role, schedule, completion history, grades, hours, and progress.

Privacy: Student names, subject mappings, grades, progress, attendance, and other family records are not added to the public provider-neutral master catalog.
