Build a Mixed-Curriculum Plan for a Student

< 1 min read

Liberty Lamp is designed for families who use different curriculum by child, subject, or teaching style. You can combine Liberty Lamp courses with family-selected outside providers without importing third-party lessons into MasterStudy.

Build the student subject map #

  1. Open Curriculum and choose the student in the Student Curriculum Workspace.
  2. Search the Master Curriculum Library by provider, subject, grade, or course name.
  3. Select Map to Student for the course you want to use.
  4. Choose the student subject.
  5. Set the course role to Primary, Supplemental, or Elective.
  6. Save the mapping and repeat for the other subjects in that student’s plan.

Liberty Lamp adds the selected course to the encrypted Family Course Pool and creates a separate student mapping. Outside instructional content stays with its provider; Liberty Lamp organizes the schedule, completion records, attendance, hours, grades, portfolio evidence, credits, and transcript information you choose to record.
